The Kahilu Theatre is located behind the Parker Ranch Center in Waimea/Kamuela at 67-1186 Lindsey Road.

Parking is free. You are invited to park in the Center parking lots. The ADA ramp is on the West side of the theatre.

The box office opens 1 hour prior to the start of each concert.
All artists and programs are subject to change. Please call the box office 808-885-6868 for updated information or visit the Season Program page on this website.
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable, except in the case that an event is canceled. If you are unable to use your ticket we encourage you to donate the ticket back to the theatre at least 24 hours prior to the concert so that the ticket may be resold to someone on the waiting list. Your generosity will be acknowledged with a tax receipt for the value of the tickets.
Everyone must have a ticket, even “babes in arms.”
Making Kahilu Beautiful. A fee of $2/ticket is added to the price of each ticket purchased to help Kahilu Theatre pay for major repairs, maintenance, and equipment replacement that are long overdue. This fee is waived for all Subscription Series purchases.
FOR OFF-ISLAND VISITORS:
Location – Waimea/Kamuela (population approx. 8,000) is located on Highway 190 on the northern slope of Mauna Kea at the 2900 foot elevation.
Getting here – The Island of Hawaii is served by two international airports: Hilo and Kona. Waimea/Kamuela is about 50 minutes from the Kona Airport and about 90 minutes from the Hilo Airport.
Directions From Kona:
KONA AIRPORT TO THE KOHALA COAST RESORTS
Leave the airport and turn left at the stoplight onto Queen Ka’ahumanu Hwy. (Hwy. 19). Follow the highway for 17 miles for the Waikoloa Resort (Outrigger Waikoloa Beach and Hilton Waikoloa Village). The entrance is marked by coconut trees and a stone wall with a wooden roof is on your left. Follow the signs to your hotel.
19 miles for the Mauna Lani Resort (Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and The Orchid at Mauna Lani). The entrance is marked by coconut trees and a stone wall. Follow signs to your hotel.
32 miles for the Mauna Kea Resort (Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel). The entrance to the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is on the left (marked by a rock wall with an orange hibiscus flower). The entrance to the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is on the right.
KOHALA COAST RESORTS TO KAHILU THEATRE
Leave the Resort property and turn north onto Queen Ka’ahumanu Hwy./Hwy. 19. (This is a left turn for all resorts except for the Hapuna Beach Prince Resort). About: 1 mile north of the Mauna Kea Resort, 7 miles north of the Mauna Lani Resort, 9 miles north of the Waikoloa Beach Resort, you come to a T in the road, turn right to Waimea. This is still Hwy. 19. Follow the road about 10 miles (at one point the road forks, STAY TO THE RIGHT, still on Hwy 19!)
As you pass through town the road makes a curve to the right. You are now facing a stoplight. Move into the middle lane and go straight through the stoplight into the shopping center. Behind the shopping center is the Kahilu Theatre. You will be looking at the BACK of the Kahilu Theatre, the BIG beige building with a marquee on it. The stage doors and loading dock are at the back of the building. The box office is on the front of the building (Mauna Kea side.)
Directions From Hilo:
Leaving airport, turn right at traffic light onto Kanoelehua (Volcano Hwy.) Turn left at traffic light onto Kamehameha Avenue. Get in the right-hand lane. Go past the traffic light over the bridge; turn right at the next light and immediately left onto Route 19 (Bayfront Hwy. which becomes the Hawaii Belt Road). Go straight for about 55 miles – through three gulches and past the town of Honoka’a.
Coming into Waimea-Kamuela, turn left at the third stoplight (Lindsey Road) into the shopping center. Behind the shopping center is the Kahilu Theatre. You will be looking at the BACK of the Kahilu Theatre, the BIG beige building with a marquee on it. The stage doors and loading dock are at the back of the building. The box office is on the front of the building (Mauna Kea side.)
