Youth Visual Arts
The Youth Visual Arts program involves two branches, the Keiki Art Show and the Photography Competition and Exhibition.
The Photography Competition and Exhibition has a youth category, where the young artists are recognized along with their adult counterparts in the gallery and at a reception. The 9th Annual Photography Entry Form is posted on the Kahilu Gallery page. The show will hang in the Kahilu Gallery December 1-December 30. The deadline for entry is October 14, 2011.
The Keiki Art Show is an art contest open to Big Island youth, aged 5-10, which culminates in a gallery show and reception for the up and coming artists and their families. This show will hang in the Kahilu Gallery March 7 April 2. Deadline for entry is December 9, 2011.
